Artist's Comments

Sorry for the really long horizontal.
I haven't drawn anything I've liked in a really long while. After coloring artgyrl's drawing, I was kinda itching to draw something similar. So I did and, lo, I actually liked how it was turning out. So much so that I kept on drawing more people.
These were all actually drawn as four separate pairs, later photoshopped together into one piece. Inks? Most likely not gonna happen. Colors? Probably yes. But I don't know when I'll get around to it. When/if I do, I'll probably color them all separately. If anyone else wants to take a shot at colors, I'd be more than thrilled (since it so rarely happens). Please feel free. I'll probably upload all the separate pairs soon (maybe in the scraps, I don't know), in case anyone wants to color just one or two.

EDIT:
Okay, guys 'n' gals, I uploaded some higher-res stuff to my scraps section. You'll find the four separate pairs and then this version (excpet that I had to split it in half because it was too big to upload).

Looks like your pencils are crisp enough without inks. I think that colors might actually carry it just fine.

The bone that binds, the lace to please,
May draw a lover to their knees,
The curve of bust, hip and waist
embraced by scarlet, gold, or lace...
Nice. I really like how all their poses are so natural. It's cool to know that I inspired your art in some way. :) I recognize the girl third from left from your coloring tutorial. cool beans. I was actually thinking that this would be something good to practice my coloring on before I read your artist statement. I'd be fun to ink, too, though.

Oh, these are fantastic! You can really get a sense of their personalites in their poses and expressions. Such wonderul details. I might just have to take a crack at coloring one of the couples. I'm new to photoshop and it would make for great practice. Great work.
Oh I'd certainly like to try and cg 'em ^^
If I just knew a little more about those colors..are can I randomly choose em? ^^;
f you don't mind,that is.
Also,may I request a higher resolution?
300dpi,maybe?
Better for coloring,you know...
thanks in advance!
