EDIT: Fixed that one line on her scarf that was annoying me. Changed the color of her shirt to a sort of teal shade. Lightened up the base of her ballet flats. And actually flatted those branches. They were a pain. But they look good, so I guess it was worthwhile.


Omg. Another Runaways drawing?! Could the rest be far behind? Um... probably. Sorry.

So here's my interpretation of Klara. She turned out a bit older-looking than I wanted. But I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I don't know if the color combo is too Christmas-y. I wanted her to have a red scarf (to carry on her Red Riding Hood kind of vibe) and the shirt was based off an army green jacket I saw in a magazine years and years ago. I might switch the shirt to grey and completely change the color of her ballet flats. And, lord help me, I can't deal with flatting those flowers and branches (which I kinda totally <s>stole</s> borrowed from Micah and Christina's Rogue and Gambit print) right now.

Fully rendered colors probably won't happen, so if you wanna try some colors out yourself, just note me for the hi-res lineart.

There's so much I like about this picture, its hard to find a good place to begin. I like the gesture of the picture. It almost seems like she's causing the tree to grow. I also envy how you draw your clothing. All the folds look very real and the seams are always so clean. Just out of curiosity, how old is she supposed to be? Judging from this picture I'd say the 12-14 range.

Anyway, great picture and sorry for the mini-WoT. :)

Again, nice work. I like the scarf and the way the branches carry your eye through the picture.
