So there it is. I think I finished it a couple months ago but I'm just now uploading it. I really like how it turned out. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with it.
Edit: I made the nose and lips a tad smaller. It just needed it.

oh man, this is amazing. the lines and the colors are topnotch.
i would've added a bit more highlights to the hair or maybe darkened the shadow a bit, but that's minor. excellent piece
The composition is excellent, and the use of art nouveaux style a la Alfons Mucha enahances the presentation creating depth while limiting the need for background detail. I enjoy the contrast of flat design elements and pattern being offset by the detailed central figure that this style demands. the 2 spots that i'm not entirely sold on are the cape and the crotch of the costume. The cape seems to be reacting to the light opposite from the rest of the figure with the bottom corner being lighter than the rest of the cape, and in fact lighter than the highlight areas on the rest of the body. It reads as the cape being different colors on the inside and the outside, which is cool as a design concpet, but spacially is slightly confusing. The crotch of the costume is more coming from my own design sensibility (so feel free to take or leave the following as you wish). Being that this is outter wear (as much as skin tight spandex esque costumes are outter wear) the lighter fabric at the crotch seems a bit strange as a design choice. It is of course in the vein of the Superman aesthetic of underwear on the outside, which does work in a lot of instances, in this case I find it slightly distracting, due to the fact that it seems to be a different part of a single piece outfit, and the cut of it seems like the itsy bitsy teeny weeny bikini variety. It seems imbalanced with the rest of the outfit. The stripe of lighter fabric on the top of the outfit is large and bold, while the stripe at the crotch is thin and anemic. If the lighter fabric took up more space on the bottom part of the costume, it would seem to be more balanced, and in theme with the rest of the costume. Anyway, over all its a very beautiful piece, and I hope this helps.
OMG!
That is freakin amazing!
After seeing the inked version I decided to try myself at coloring it, and even though I spend about 5-6 hours on it (which is more than I usually do), it doesn't look half as good as yours!
Your talent never ceases to amaze me!
Anywho... trying to color your work was a real challenge and I think I larned a lot from it, maybe once it's done I'll submit so you can see it.
Well, what can I say?
Excellent work!

It very, very nice! I'll fav it!! It's almost perfect!
If I can dare a suggestion I would prefere a different colour for her dress... there is not enough contrast between the colours of her hair, dress and skin...
Very "Josh Middleton" look to this piece which is great since I'm a big fan of his work too.
I can see why others are sounding off about your choice of tones, but frankly I think the subdued colors work really well. I love the way the knees and face pop with your use of shadowed tones.

This could've been printed in Invincible ages ago.
Just your usual Rodin solid goodness.
